MBChB Registered in 1995, Dr Pearce joined the team in September 2005. She has lived locally for a number of years and as a medical student spent time at Springmead Surgery. She has a special interest in paediatric medicine and diabetes.

Dr Alice Chapman joined Springmead on 26th June, 2017, to replace Dr Lucy Edwards. Dr Chapman is well known and liked in the practice, as she has worked as a Locum GP here, on a very regular basis, over the last 3 years. Dr Chapman completed her medical degree at the University of Liverpool, and qualified in 2009. Since qualification, Dr Chapman has worked in a number of Somerset GP practices, and has chosen to work permanently in Springmead.
Janet works with our Housebound patients providing care and support for their long term condition management.
Camille Hoare & Becky Davis are our Health Care Assistants. Eleanor Compton is our apprentice Health Care Assistant.
Investigating a person’s illness and looking after patients with long-term problems may involve blood tests. The HCA’s carry out these tests and are involved in new patient checks, smoking cessation, Health Checks, Weight Management & other investigations
Nicky leads a team responsible for income generation, contract management, performance returns and patient registrations.

Ruth manages the team responsible for patient enquiries, prescriptions and clinical appointments.

District Nurses offer a wide range of services to people in their own homes or in clinics. These involve skilled nursing care, confidential advice, information and referral to other services where necessary. This day–time team is supported by others to provide a 24 hour service which is accessible to all and referrals can be made by anyone.
